Kolymbia is about 4 kilometers far from Afandou and covers the area between the river Loutanis till the foot of Tsambika mountain.

Characteristic of the region is the excellent land planning, a work of the Italians who created Kolymbia resort. Some of the houses built during that period are still preserved.

The road with the eucalypts is impressive even now. It is about 2.300 meters long and it was designed during the Italian occupation, when 550 eucalypts were planted on both sides of the road. The road starts from the main road and ends to Theotokos region. At the end of road with the eucalypts there is a junction that leads to three beautiful little bays, namely Nisaki with the rock formations, Limanaki with the sand hills and Culymbia beach.
